The city in its four hundreds, Mogi das Cruzes was founded in 1560. The population is of aproximately 360.000 inhabitants. Oly 52 km (33 miles) from São Paulo, the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere, and 25 km (33 miles) from Guarulhos international Airport, Mogi das Cruzes is framed by Serra do Mar mountains, accessing the beach of Bertioga, less than an hour’s drive to the Atlantic Coast. The city benefits from two Universities, eight private High Schools and a variety of economic activities including agriculture, specially horticulture and poultry farming.
In the sportive field, Mogi benefits from the City leagues of Soccer, Indoor Soccer, Judo and from several private Schools of soccer, volleyball, Basketball, Swimming,
Baseball, between six social clubs (sportive/recreational) and a Division III Professional Soccer Club.

SPORTS TOURS SOCCER COACHES COURSE ITINERARY:

DAY 1 – GUARULHOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT/ MOGI DAS CRUZES
Arrival at Guarulhos International Airport. You will be met by Sports Tours staff-member and transported to the city of Mogi das Cruzes. Accommodation at a 3 star category Hotel in double occupancy.
In the evening, at 7:00 PM, you will attend the following lecture: “The Amateur Soccer program of Alto do Tiête Region” ministered by the President of Mogi das Cruzes Soccer league .

DAY 2 –6 MOGI DAS CRUZES
Classroom sessions and practice sessions will be held at “Clube Náutico Mogiano” Physical Education College
Daily schedule: 8:30 – 11:30 AM
3:00 - 6:00 PM

- The Trainer formation
- Soccer Schools Planning and Administration
- Soccer Schools Program Development in Brazil
- Introduction of Beginners into Sport, Mental Training and the Player’s Formation
- The importance of the Referee in the formation of School Children and Youngsters
- Strenght and Conditioning Programs directed to youth Soccer Teams
- Introduction of Goalkeepers into the Sports (Beginners)
- Fundamentals Technical Development
- Beginners Tactical Development
- The future of Soccer
- Soccer School Trainer and his responsabilities
- 2 (two) visits to Soccer Schools in the City of Mogi das Cruzes
- Dinner Party at 7:00 PM: Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation.

DAY 7 – MOGI DAS CRUZES / SANTOS / MOGI DAS CRUZES
Depart Mogi das Cruzes at 7:00 AM to Santos. Tour the city of Santos and its beaches. Visit the Sradium of Santos Futebol Clube where legendary Pelé played for Santos Futebol Club throughout his career. Visit the Club Trophy’s Lounge and Professional Training Center. Lunch. Return to Mogi at 6:00 PM.

DAY 8 – MOGI DAS CRUZES / SÃO PAULO / MOGI DAS CRUZES
Depart Mogi das Cruzes at 7:00 AM to São Paulo, the largest city of South America. Tour the cultural points of interest and visit the Stadium of São Paulo Futebol Club, its Trophy’s Lounge and the Professional Training Center. São Paulo Team was two time Champion of “Toyota Cup”, Tokyo. Visit Sports Club Corinthians and its Trophy’s lounge, another Division I Professional Soccer Club, the largest in number of fans of São Paulo State. This Club was FIFA’S World Champion. Lunch. Return to Mogi das Cruzes at 6:00 PM.

DAY 9 – MOGI DAS CRUZES / GUARULHOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Free day. In the evening, transfer to the airport for flight home

Airline round trip tickets or ground transportation, accommodations at a 3 star category hotel in Copacabana (3 blocks from the beach) in double occupancy, breakfast and dinner, visits to Division I Professional Clubs: “Clube de Regatas Flamengo” (largest number of fans in Brazil) and to “Clube de Regatas Vasco da Gama”, tour the city of Rio de Janeiro including its beaches, Sugar Loaf and Christ the Reddemer.

Deppending on the number of participants, this tour may have permanent assistance of a tour leader speaking English/Portuguese
